Skiing is an outdoor sport and is proven to be healthy. With fresh mountain air, a magnificent mountain panorama and lots of exercise, you can replenish your vitamin D intake. And that doesn't only do you good physically, especially after the restrictions of the last few months, a stay in the mountains also brings with it a mental boost. That is why we are looking forward to the winter with you!
The ski region Hochkönig offers with almost endless slopes also this winter a lot of space to enjoy the skiing pleasure to the full. 120 km of slopes and 34 modern cable cars and lifts make the ski area a true paradise for winter sports lovers. Along the Königstour around Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach, wide and extensive slopes and a breathtaking mountain panorama create the best conditions for experiencing winter sports in the Hochkönig region with sufficient distance.
The excellent mountain hut culture with its outstanding culinary delights is another plus point for ski vacationers in the Hochkönig region. Here you will find small, family-run ski huts with great hospitality, individual service and enough space for sufficient distance. This winter, our huts are focusing on table reservations with appropriate reception areas for seat assignments. Thus all safety, hygiene and distance rules can be observed in the best possible way. In addition, a separate registration system for contact tracing in all catering establishments ensures your personal safety.
Since your health is very important to us and we also want to make your journey home uncomplicated and safe, we have set up two Covid-19 test tracks in the Hochkönig region for you. If you wish, you can use these test tracks on fixed dates for a fee - so you have a valid test for your smooth return journey.
